GrillJunkie Burger-A-Day Cookbook Review

We love to grill burgers and use our grill year round. Usually the only thing that stops us is when there's a snowstorm or -20 degrees or colder. Then it's not so fun. Our usual preference is beef burgers since we buy 3/4 of a cow every year. We have it on hand so it's convenient. This book has enlightened me though! There are so many other types of burgers just waiting to be grilled!

First of all, this book starts out with some really good general info about grilling. It has sections called Top Ten Grilling Tips, Top Ten Grilling Techniques, Grilling Temperatures and Cooking Times, and my favorite, The Grill of Rights!

Then it gets into the good stuff- recipes! Wow, after going through the book I see our usual hamburgers are rather boring compared to those listed in this book. We need to branch out a bit! A few in the beef section that caught my eye were the Hawaiian Aloha Burger, The Sweet & Angry Italian, and the Peanutery Asian which suggests using just lettuce leaves to wrap the burger in to keep it more authentic. I like the idea that it will save me a few calories too!

This book also contains a wide variety of other burger recipes for bison, chicken, turkey, pork, seafood & fish, lamb, and also vegetable ones. So many options! My first voyage beyond the beef will be the Cilantro Chicken Burger!

Towards the end of the book there is also a section called Fries, Sides, Rubs, & Sauces. The Granny Smith Apple Slaw sounds delicious!

The book is very well laid out. The author has done an excellent job of including step by step instructions so this book is great for beginners or as it's called GrillJunkies! This book was so much more than I expected. I know we will be using this book frequently as the weather keeps on getting better for us!

You can find GrillJunkie Burger-A-Day  on Amazon. Happy Grilling!

* I received this ebook in exchange for my honest review. Opinions are my own.
