100% Copper Mug for Moscow Mule Review

This mug is made from 100% copper and wow does it ever keep your beverage cold! It holds 16 oz and the handle fits just comfortably in your hands. It's the perfect size. While I don't drink Moscow Mules I have enjoyed using it for juice and soda.

It was a warm 75 degrees outside today so I enjoyed sitting out on our deck for a bit. It was rather windy so my relaxing didn't last too long. This mug kept my beverage very cold. My youngest boy had to test it out with some lemonade also. I may have to share this awesome little mug or invest in a few more! I really look forward to using it this summer out by the pool.

This 100% Copper Mug can be found on Amazon. It comes with several recipes for different mules to make so you can enjoy your mug to the fullest. Copper not only keeps your beverage cold but also enhances the flavor and provides health benefits.

This mug needs to be washed by hand with soap and water and dried afterwards.

Trisha's Table - Cookbook Review

What a delight this new cookbook from Trisha Yearwood is! It has a nice balance of healthy food with some indulgent ones so you can still splurge every now and then and not feel guilty. What makes me really happy about this book is so many of the recipes I can see my whole family eating and enjoying!

The photos in the book are just beautiful. The recipes are easy to read and I love that she's included little bits of info about each recipe at the beginning. She has included a few recipes from family and friends and it's nice that there are pictures of them included with some of the recipes. I always think it makes it more personal when they've included someone who is connected with the recipe and not just taken credit for it.

I have so many recipes marked that I want to try. Most are all regular ingredients and nothing you need to go looking all over town for. I've found these wonderful little sticky tabs that work great for marking pages of recipes I want to try. This cookbook has lots of them!

Lots of recipes marked to try!

This cookbook is full of a great variety of recipes fit for the whole family. Ones that are on the top of my list include avocado pineapple salsa, power balls, kale soup, cornbread-chili casserole, quinoa corn chowder, and chocolate angel food cake with strawberries.

I highly recommend Trisha's Table if you are looking for some tasty new recipes.

Wait for the Rain - Book Review

I am a bit obsessed with reading. I spend many nights telling myself just one more chapter and before I know it, it's 2 am and that one chapter ends up being a dozen or so because I had to finish the book. There are just so many books and not enough hours in the day!

The cover of this book caught my eye and once I read the book description I knew it was my style of book. I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but a beach scene always catches my attention.

Wait for the Rain is about 3 friends who meet up for a reunion in the Caribbean to celebrate turning 40. The book is mostly focused on Daphne who is a bit distraught about how her life turned out. She's divorced. Her ex husband is getting remarried and her teenage daughter is not needing her as much. She's also worried about her two friends finding out how unhappy she is. Once she's shared her true feelings she is able to relax more and enjoy their vacation and focus on getting back some of her spunk she thought she lost.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read. The relationship the 3 friends had was very believable and it showed how each of them have parts of their life that are not so great. We all have friends that their lives seem to be easier or happier than ours but when we really are able to see the whole picture we know it's not perfect.

You can find Wait for the Rain on Amazon. You can also visit her website - Maria Murnane and find out about her other books. I really enjoyed her style of writing and can't wait to read her other books!

Lunch Bag Hango - Set of 2 Review

This set of Black Hango Lunch Bags comes with a small and large size. They arrived folded inside the white cotton bag shown in the photo above.

The outside material is nice and seems to be easy to wipe clean. The handles also appear to be attached well. They are both lined with a silver insulation to keep foods cold.

Large bag.

Small bag.

The large bag can easily hold 6 cans of pop and a decent sized ice pack on top of them. The smaller bag I was able to put in a yogurt and an apple. You could fit a few more smaller things in there also. The bags are a bit smaller than I had imagined. You could easily use the larger of the bags for one person's lunch or for sending with a child to school. The smaller bag might be good for a very small child if putting just a half a sandwich and juice box or whatever in it.

I do prefer bags that have a bit more support or shape to them. These are not flimsy but just feel like they don't hold their shape well. The zippers are a bit picky also in that you do have to hold the bags just right to get them to zip smoothly.

I can see myself tossing a few cans of pop or some water bottles and an ice packet in the larger one while I'm out running errands in the summer. The smaller bag may just end up being used for a bathroom bag when traveling.

These are just my own opinions. These bags may be what you are looking for. I think it really depends on your lifestyle and what you'd use them for.

You can find this Lunch Bag Hango - Set of 2 on Amazon.

CushionCare Memory Foam Seat Cushion Review

Sitting for long periods of time is not good for the body. Sometimes we just can't help it though. I spend half my day doing housework and the other half homeschooling our 4 boys and working on my computer at the dining room table. Wooden chairs are not comfortable for long periods of time! I've only had this CushionCare Memory Foam Seat Cushion for a few days now but I am loving it!

It is so soft and comfortable. It has me sitting up straighter and my back and behind do not hurt after sitting for an extended period of time. It is made from 100% memory foam and is not supposed to flatten even after extensive use.

It has a handle to make it convenient to take with you.
A zipper on the bottom so it can easily be removed for washing.

Extra cover included- the cushion is not in this photo.

I look forward to taking this cushion on a few road trips that I have coming up. It's already made such a big difference over these last few days using it on my dining room chair. Each time I sit down I'm reminded how much more comfortable it is.

You can find this CushionCare Memory Foam Seat Cushion on Amazon.

24 Ct. All Natural Hot Chocolate for Keurig K-Cup Review

It is still cold here in Minnesota and the forecast is suggesting that four letter word - SNOW- is possible in the next couple days. I don't like being cold at all so I'm usually drinking a lot of hot beverages like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate until it warms up.

We've had a Keurig for a few years now and love the convenience of it. I especially like that K cups come in hot chocolate. It's so much easier to pop in a little cup and not have to worry about the mess of spilling powder all over the counter. These All Natural Hot Chocolate K Cups are really good! They have just the right amount of chocolate sweetness without all the bad ingredients. Our boys like them too! They each had one when they came in from playing outside yesterday. It's a nice quick way to warm up!

They are made in the U.S.A. by Black Bear Market. The only ingredients are pure cane sugar, non-fat dry milk, cocoa, whey, natural flavor, salt, locust bean gum, and stevia. You don't have to feel guilty drinking this hot chocolate because it's fat free!

These K cups are not compatible with Keurig Vue or 2.0 systems. You can find out more about these delicious Hot Chocolate K cups by visiting the Black Bear Market website.

Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin B12 Cream Review

This Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin B12 Cream has such a nice light peppermint scent. The first time I used it I was surprised that it has a pink color to it. I didn't know that natural Vitamin B12 is bright red so it mixes in with the natural white lotion to give it the pretty pink color. It really makes my skin soft and absorbs quickly. It didn't leave my skin feeling greasy either.

Currently I've just been using on my hands and inner wrists because my hands are so dry and itchy and it's supposed to absorb better into the inner wrist area. I tend to get eczema on my elbows on and off so I look forward to seeing if this will help the next time I have it.

Each bottle contains enough for one month (30 days). Two pumps equals one full application. It helps soothe dry, itchy, or irritated skin patches from eczema, psoriasis, or other skin rash. It's scientifically formulated for maximum absorption.

Using Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12 Cream is a quick, easy, and safe way to absorb key B-Vitamins.
