This Ice Ball Maker from Bar Brat has gotten so much use at our house since it arrived. It is easy to fill up and then after a few hours pop out the ice. The ice balls come out really easy because you can twist and bend the mold. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the freezer either.
It is made from black food grade silicone. Each mold makes 4 spherical 4.5 cm ice balls. It is 100% BPA free and FDA approved. The mold is also dishwasher safe.
My husband has been using these for his iced tea. It keeps it really cold and doesn't melt as fast as regular ice cubes. We've also used them for pop, lemonade, and Kool-aid. I'm looking forward to using them a lot this summer when we are sitting out at our pool or on the deck. I'm also thinking I might add some pieces of strawberries or blueberries when I freeze them and add that to our lemonade just for fun.
