This US Art Supply 12-piece Wood Carving Tool Set contains several blade styles. It says they are for basic and detailed carving on multiple surfaces.
I was hoping this would work as a starter set for our youngest who has wanted to experiment with some carving. It says the blades come pre-sharpened however a few of them in the package had burrs on them. We had to sharpen them. A few were also offset when they were put together.
A bit hard to see in the photo but it has a burr. They definitely need to be sharpened.
This one is uneven. Not sure if it's supposed to be that way?
This one arrived with a crack in it.
Once we sharpened them they will be OK for small projects for our youngest to fiddle with. I wouldn't say they are a quality set though and not sure how long they will last.
