Books like If You Were Me and Lived in...Colonial America make history fun. We love to use this type of book for our homeschool learning. This book is interesting for adults and kids. The pages are glossy and full of great illustrations. The back has a glossary that is very helpful and there is also a 2 page spread of some of the people that were influential at the time. We really enjoyed this book.
An enjoyable way to learn a bit of history.
If You Were Me and Lived in...Ancient Greece was sent along as a surprise! It is also a wonderful book full of great illustrations and exciting facts about living in Ancient Greece. She also gives details about the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece and a nice glossary which includes pronunciation. I love the way she tells it from a child's point of view yet it's not childish.
